St George Museum Attractions
St. George has some great Museums that you can visit during your stay in one of our resort condo rentals.
Dinosaur Discovery
In Feb 2000 there were dinosaur bones found just 1 mile from down town St. George at the Johnson Farm. This has been turned into a nice museum. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6:00 pm. There is an admission fee.
Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum
The Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum is another wonderful place to visit. There are over 300 different species in their natural habitat. As you walk along you can listen to the fascinating stories of the hunt. Call for Museum hours 435-656-0033.
St. George Art Museum
The St. George Art Museum is located across from the Main Post Office in downtown St. George. This is a historic Pioneer Center for the arts. Call for more information at 435-627-4525.
Washington City Museum
The Washington City Museum is located on the corner of telegraph and Main Street in Washington, Utah. This Monument Plaza has four full size bronze statues and fifty bronze medallions of early Washington pioneer settlers.
Hours: Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Zion Human History Museum
The Zion Human History Museum is open 7 days a week and provides the opportunity to see Ancestral Puebloan artifacts and Mormon Pioneer, Southern Paiute, and early Zion National Park history. Temporary exhibits change every six months. An orientation movie can be seen in the auditorium. The museum is located one mile inside the park from the Springdale entrance. 435-772-3256
