2009 St. George Marathon
The 2009 St. George Marathon is just around the corner. Rated “one of four marathons to build a vacation around” in the world, the St. George Marathon scored 937 out of 1000 in a “Marathon and Beyond” review of the country’s top Marathons. It is also ranked 11th out of the top 25 Marathons in the country by “America’s Best & Top Ten”.
The St. George Marathon is the 15th largest marathon in the USA. It begins in the majestic Pine Valley mountains and descends nearly 2600 ft., through scenic southwest Utah, to the beautiful Worthen Park. The St. George Marathon is a point-to-point race which is USA Track & Field Certified & Sanctioned. Runner’s World listed the St. George Marathon as the fastest fall marathon.
